Hope everyone had a Happy Easter. The boys looked sharp for church Sunday morning but you wouldnt be able to tell by these pictures. They would not cooperate and let me take any good ones of them. It was a bit cool for our Easter Egg Hunt but we made it happen and it was a quick one! Not many places to hide eggs in our little front yard so it wasn't hard to find them!
So now the story about the chair. Jackson and Gray go into our room sometimes and lay on the bed and watch TV, late yesterday afternoon was no different. Jackson had done something to get into trouble so we had banished him to his bedroom. A while later I realized that Gray had been really quiet so I went in to check on him. Well, in our room we have the nice rocker that Chad got for me before Jackson was born...so I walk in the room and the chair is turned around backwards and Gray is standing behind it with Chad's knife in his had and blood dripping off...of course I was freaking out so I grabbed him and ran to the kitchen and wrapped his finger in a papertowel, luckily he had just poked himself with the tip of the knife so it was not a bad cut. That is the only thing I was concerned with was what could have happened...So a few minutes passed and Chad went into the bedroom and I hear "Oh My God"....so I come running and he meets me at the door and tells me NOT to go in there....so I'm thinking maybe there's blood on the carpet or something like that...oh no....Our precious Gray found a box by the dresser and he wanted to know what was in it so with his knife that he had found....the knife was on top of the dresser out of reach of the kids, so we thought, until Gray stood on the chair and reached it....So Gray put the box in the chair and started cutting, but Gray is not yet 3 so his aim is a little off still....so, as you can see, the chair suffered a little. I'm not so worried about the chair, it can be recovered. I'm just thankful that a pricked finger is all we had to deal with.
